I discovered this magical oil scent just a few months ago, and have been 100% hooked ever since. My other 'go-to' fragrances have been sadly neglected ever since this little bottle of heaven arrived at my apartment.
If you've never tried an Egyptian Musk oil fragrance, you'll be in for a treat.
The oil is very smooth and calming to put on, and is a mix of pure and essential oils. I'd describe the scent as luxurious, but also light, and because it is not exceptionally strong or overpowering, it's perfect for daytime. I discovered this oil on The Skinny Confidential, and she describes this scent as "it has a musk base & kind of blends in with your skin. You will smell…clean? Ya, clean- that’s how I would describe it." I think she's pretty spot on with that assessment. Clean, but fancy.
This oil is never tested on animals and contains no alcohol (unfortunately >70% of a typical perfume bottle is made up of alcohol... goes great in a cocktail, not so much on your skin!).
This Egyptian Musk Oil (Abdul Kareem), is known to have been a favorite of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy.
So.... its Egyptian Musk "a thing"? Yes, and it's awesome.
Egyptian musk oil is different than other musk oils due to some special properties. It's very lightweight so it can be applied all over the body (can be quite moisturizing). The scent slowly releases slowly throughout the day (keeping you smelling pretty for hours!), and apparently it is also an insect repellant (TBD!).

If you're into self reflection and mindfulness, this oil is a PERFECT COMPANION for your spiritual practice. It's really calming and lovely, and I like to put it on before meditation, or just having some "me" time with a good book.
For $16.99 on Amazon, this oil worth every penny, but as a heads up, the vendor does not accept returns, so if it doesn't end up working for you, you can always gift it to a (very lucky) friend.
